1. first day

Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

2. first period

You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

3. lesson proper

You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.

4. faculty

Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!

5. lunch break

Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

6. hooky

One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.

7. detention

What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

8. p.e.

Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.

9. home ec.

Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to burn the school down!

10. lab work

Frog dissections! Explosions!

11. school fair/festival

Every school has one of these. What's your class doing this year?

12. theater

Oh boy, oh boy, being the star of this play is your dream. It isn't? Oh. You're still helping with the props and costumes, right?

13. library

If you need to look something up or just want some peace and quiet, this is the place. Whatever you do, shh, people are trying to read.

14. bully

Whether they take the form of Nelson Muntz or Regina George, if you choose to meet them at the gym at four o' clock or else, be ready to face the consequences... or maybe you don't have to. Not when someone's here to help you out. (This can go either way - one of the participants can be the bully or someone helping the victim.)

15. tutor

You're having trouble with a class or you're trying to make up for the days you were absent. It's a good thing someone was nice enough to offer their assistance.

16. clubs

Assuming that you actually have one. Are you writing for the school paper? Part of the student council? The marching band? Maybe you're a member of one of those weird occult clubs or something...

17. prom

Do you have a dress? A date? Who are you voting for prom king? Is being on prom committee is driving you crazy? Do you even care?

18. graduation

Well, it was fun while it lasted. It's time to say those last words, settle those scores and get ready to grow up.

[a new student who has spent the rest of her school life at a private all-girls boarding school and only managed to attend somewhere slightly more normal through trickery and passive-aggressive guilting. she's an excellent student and hypercompetitive, often spending hours studying and putting outrageous levels of work into projects. her extracurriculars are perfectly manicured to make her seem like a model student, although she doesn't discuss her actual interests that often.

even if her personality weren't so intimidating, Rose's style of dress is rather dark and melodramatic and keeps the fainthearted away from her. she doesn't mind at all - it gives her more time to dive into Lovecraft]

[Sif is jock, and grew up next door to the Odinson Brothers. Regarded by most as a "bro", she's starting to want that perception to change.]

[Christina recently joined the drama club, but wants to be a writer. She may come off as shy, but actually just tries not to speak unless she has something important to say.]

[Friendly, a bit of a ditz, and nerdy at times. Head of the SciFi club. Has a bit of an obsession with robots and aliens.]

[a transfer student often given a wide berth for her multitude of oddities, she's spent her entire life in the wilds of Africa under the care of volunteer parents who encourage her to do whatever she wants to regardless of how bizarre it is. she's incredibly sheltered from social norms and with feathers constantly stuck in her hair and constant chatter about spirit animals she'd have been bullied quite relentlessly if she hadn't befriended a certain student who could snap everyone else in half.

she's a member of the art and writing club, and although she doesn't look like it is an incredibly skilled part of the judo team]

[The Class Flirt meets The Class Clown who, secretly, wants to become involved in musical theatre. He's actually a very good dancer and a bit of a momma's boy. The one most likely to be seen climbing up to your daughter's window. Or smacked by said daughter.]

[ Laurent's that one know-it-all kid who probably corrects the teacher all the time and always gets perfect on every single test/assignment/whatever.

He also spends a lot of times in the labs doing experiments. When he's not doing that, he's trying to ~~be nosy~~ make sure all his friends are doing well. ]

[Big time jock without a whole lot of patience for studying. She's friendly, but had a pretty sheltered childhood.]

[Utena is an athletic underclassman who refuses to join some clubs despite her fencing skill. Instead she indulges in intramural basketball. Generally a pretty good student, but at times needs tutoring in math. Tends to be popular with the ladies despite being one herself (though she came in with the new school year so some people may not know she is a girl). Has no qualms flirting with them. Generally friendly to everyone, but may or may not have rivalries with male classmates.]

[Captain of the soccer team, great grades, all around super nice guy, if kinda soft-spoken.]

[Winry is that kid who sleeps in math class and still gets A's on tests. She excels in Math and Science, and tends to be one of the classmates that ruin the bell curve. She has a part time job at the family business, and is looking to majoring in bio-engineering. Winry is pretty amicable with everyone, but will verbally stand up to bullies and get into loud arguments with friends at lunch.]

[ One of the many "popular" girls. She's usually always bored with the ongoings of the school and desperately wanting to increase her modeling portfolio. However, she seems a bit odd when you actually get to talk to her. The girl comes off as blunt, disinterested, and sometimes cruel.

But, everyone loves Junko Enoshima.

We heard Junko does shampoo commercials. In Japan. ]

(( Sakura is an A student and member of the karate club. She spends most of her time in the library or at the gym. Teased as a younger student, she took up martial arts to scare the bullies off. All in all, she's a very normal student.))

[ The model athlete. Aoi Asahina a ditzy girl who is usually always running between sports team practices. Spread a bit thin, she calls dibs on six clubs. However, her favorite is the Swimming team.

Asahina is pretty nice and willing to help anyone -- just don't ask her to tutor you, you'd surely fail that exam. ]

[Annie's that weird girl that everyone is quick to label as 'crazy'. She keeps to herself, and is much more comfortable speaking with teachers than other students. She's the top ranked swimmer on the team, and was quite popular until her Freshman year when she, after her family's death, tried to kill herself, and subsequently spent a year in a mental institution.

Annie is very bright, and caring, and, like half the school, has eyes for the captain of the men's swimming team.]

( ed is the new transfer student, and probably always will be, because he's always travelling, never staying long in one place. by the first day, most people know not to call him short, because his temper is explosive. but otherwise, ed tends to spend most of his time in the library or science labs.

[Eponine is the type of girl that you're more likely to find smoking behind the school then actually in class. She's rough-and-tumble, preferring to stick with the less-than-savory members of her high school. She's the girl that's been drinking since middle school, and her ripped jeans were most likely stolen.

She wasn't always like this, but she's been this way since anyone can remember.]

[Tall, loud, brash, pushy, and generally probably more than the average student can handle, Haruki Suzumiya is the boy who over the first two months of school was a member of every other club in the school for at least one hour and at most three days. During that time, he was exceptional at everything he tried (something also leaking into his test scores) but he also was bored. Very bored.

Something changed when he resolved to found his own club though. Where you drafted into his SOS-Brigade? Are you dealing with him in another capacity? He's a lot to handle either way]

[A flirt who is only classy in his own mind. He does well enough with literature, though you'd never know it from how he rarely participates in class in a productive manner. In fact, he'll sometimes skip out of his own classroom to sit in another his friends are in, hits on all the girls ever, and generally seems to be a free spirited youth.

Though perhaps, he's also trying a bit too hard]

[Samus is a quiet keep-to-herself upperclassmen who will intimidate and challenge any bullies. She has friends when she sits down at lunch, but would be perfectly fine being alone. She tends not to speak much, but to people who know her well her body language might speak more than she does. Very athletic, but doesn't apply herself outside of gym class despite coaches urging her to do so. Also quite skilled in shop class. Rumors of her joining the JROTC.]

[To Rin Okumura's credit, he does try. However, trying doesn't really amount to that much when you've had a rough middle school leading up to a late entrance into high school and you're just generally not that great of student besides that. He's very kind, but he also has a temper and is very socially awkward. He's also surprisingly strong but has yet to be recruited into any sort of team.

Oh and his (younger) twin brother is up there near the top of the class. So there's that too]

[ Jim is the kid that skips his classes unapologetically and when he does show up he makes sure everyone knows he doesn't give two fucks about any of it. He's the flirt and the trouble-maker and proud of it. He's also the kid that scores high marks on his exams without doing any of the work. In short: he's infuriating and awesome. ]

[Cait is that girl that everyone looks up to and admires, but no one really has the courage to talk to much except perhaps the most audacious. As a result, she mostly has acquaintances rather than friends. She's involved in student government and captain of the archery team, and, while she is generally kind, at her core she is business and rules, and no one is exempt, including bullies, which don't intimidate her in the least.]
