[ Steve's alright with that, he's much less shy delving his tongue into Tony's mouth, despite what people may think of the star quarterback. He does like Tony, or what he's seen of Tony, totally not standoffish or anything and just... not what he expected, but in a good way.
The thing about Tony is, everyone thinks he's got his eggs in a basket and he's going to go far and he's just some jerk who can't wait to get out of this small town and go write his name in the sky. And Steve, well, he thinks Tony is all those things and he's just content to be the homecoming king, but he sees a little bit of Tony that isn't just high-rises and board rooms.
He's fun, he's funny, he's witty and charming and not even in the whole fake salesman sort of way, which some people seem to think. Tony's got soul, he just covers it up in lacquer and rhinestones.
