Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.   2. first period You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.   3. lesson proper You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.   4. faculty Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!   5. lunch break Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.   6. hooky One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.   7. detention What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.   8. p.e. Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.   9. home ec. Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to burn the school down!   10. lab work Frog dissections! Explosions!   11. school fair/festival Every school has one of these. What's your class doing this year?   12. theater Oh boy, oh boy, being the star of this play is your dream. It isn't? Oh. You're still helping with the props and costumes, right?   13. library If you need to look something up or just want some peace and quiet, this is the place. Whatever you do, shh, people are trying to read.   14. bully Whether they take the form of Nelson Muntz or Regina George, if you choose to meet them at the gym at four o' clock or else, be ready to face the consequences... or maybe you don't have to. Not when someone's here to help you out. (This can go either way - one of the participants can be the bully or someone helping the victim.)   15. tutor You're having trouble with a class or you're trying to make up for the days you were absent. It's a good thing someone was nice enough to offer their assistance.   16. clubs Assuming that you actually have one. Are you writing for the school paper? Part of the student council? The marching band? Maybe you're a member of one of those weird occult clubs or something...   17. prom Do you have a dress? A date? Who are you voting for prom king? Is being on prom committee is driving you crazy? Do you even care?   18. graduation Well, it was fun while it lasted. [Somehow she knew that wouldn't work. She liked it better when she first started here and people thought she would actually follow through on the psychotic shit she said from time to time.

Maybe we should just throw the desk out. It's beyond any reasonable repair.

[Though unlike the start of her career, most of Mokou's students stopped fearing her just like her co workers. Most of them see her as an embarrassed big sister from time to time so... Patchouli is much more intimidating to them.

She likes to pretend that isn't the case, though. She gets so mad when it's made obvious, too. Or pointed out.]

I'd do a far better job of keeping them in line than yourself.

[Patchouli could easily have taken an actual teaching position instead, but she preferred the company of books over other people. They were quiet, didn't make a mess, and didn't talk back to you.]

Plus; they behave themselves just fine.

[Save the occasional prank at her expense. She's suffered through enough shit that her students thought was funny to last a lifetime. Voting Kaguya-sensei and Fujiwara-sensei the best couple in the yearbook was her least favourite, though.]

[Patchouli didn't miss that, either. She's got copies of yearbooks dating back to the school's opening.]

[She sighs and scrubs (smears) harder. She's getting angry now; she's actually failing to clean a desk.]

[She shoots Mokou one hell of a glare at the attempt to spit-shine her desk. Patchy very obviously disapproves, because that's pretty disgusting and unsanitary, but she can always spray it down with lysol or something later.]

It is a job, whether you like it or not. With that job come responsibilities.

[Frown, glare, unintelligible mumble. Is Mokou enjoying irritating Patchouli? Part of her wants to just tell Mokou to get out of her sight, but that would leave her to finish cleaning the desk.]

Yeah and I fill those responsibilities, don't I? I've never had a kid repeat my class.

[She rolls her eyes. Blehhh.]

If it was such a problem then Scarlet - the elder - would've said something.

[Plus, Mokou was always nice to the younger of the sisters, she even helped her study and helped with her homework and didn't mind when she caused a ruckus in her classroom.

Flandre was a hard student to deal with, and Mokou dealt with her pretty well. Reason enough for Remilia to keep her around. A glorified nanny.]

Remilia is busy most of the time.

[Running the school was not a particularly easy task. Although it was somewhat simpler than it could have been due to the fact that no one wanted to cross her.

Patchy would agree on that. The younger sister was quite a handful. Although there were certainly others whom could take care of her.]

[Though she's never seen Remilia eat very much. Maybe she has a tiny stomach? She could nurse a pot of tea all afternoon. Maybe??]

[What part of playing hooky doesn't Patchy get? Oh. Probably the fun part.

It's weird, though. Most days Mokou actually preforms her teacherly duties. She probably has a reason for not doing so; and both of those reasons are good at history.

Where Keine is concerned? Mokou can't be seens slacking off.

Where Kaguya is concerned? Mokou can't be shown up by that lazy bum doing more work than her.

Unfortunately for Mokou's work ethic, both of her 'reasons' happen to be escorting pupils on a field trip that day.

Or, she'd say if asked, she was just bored and couldn't be bothered today. She wasn't lonely or anything.]

[It's not fun in her opinion, nor is it amusing. It shows a clear lack of responsibility and respect for her students.]

Then perhaps you can explain why you've abandoned your classroom when Remilia arrives to have lunch with me.

[Or they weren't supposed to. She doesn't doubt that Remilia could - and would - take money out of her pocket for screwing around too much. Especially if Patchouli was the one asking.

... On the other side of things. Performance reviews. What a pain. Mokou slides her face onto the desk with a sigh. She looks like a kid who just got told exams were approaching.]
