Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.   2. first period You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.   3. lesson proper You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.   4. faculty Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!   5. lunch break Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.   6. hooky One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.   7. detention What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.   8. p.e. Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.   9. home ec. Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to burn the school down!   10. lab work Frog dissections! Explosions!   11. school fair/festival Every school has one of these. What's your class doing this year?   12. theater Oh boy, oh boy, being the star of this play is your dream. It isn't? Oh. You're still helping with the props and costumes, right?   13. library If you need to look something up or just want some peace and quiet, this is the place. Whatever you do, shh, people are trying to read.   14. bully Whether they take the form of Nelson Muntz or Regina George, if you choose to meet them at the gym at four o' clock or else, be ready to face the consequences... or maybe you don't have to. Not when someone's here to help you out. (This can go either way - one of the participants can be the bully or someone helping the victim.)   15. tutor You're having trouble with a class or you're trying to make up for the days you were absent. It's a good thing someone was nice enough to offer their assistance.   16. clubs Assuming that you actually have one. Are you writing for the school paper? Part of the student council? The marching band? Maybe you're a member of one of those weird occult clubs or something...   17. prom Do you have a dress? A date? Who are you voting for prom king? Is being on prom committee is driving you crazy? Do you even care?   18. graduation Well, it was fun while it lasted. [Brady's supposed to be working on a paper, but none of the books he's been looking at since he arrived have anything to do with the impact of imperialism on foreign cultures. They've all been books on science, in fact, mostly centering on biology - diseases, medicine, genetics, that sort of thing. He's actually skipped a class this way, table full of books and head buried in one or another, a pencil and notebook on a clear spot near him that he would occasionally jot down notes with. He looks pretty out of place here, with his thuggish demeanor, but hey, he hasn't caused any trouble yet.

It's after replacing some of the books he took out that he approaches the front desk, trying to find someone who doesn't look busy to help him find another book he's got an eye on. It's then that he spots the green-haired girl, a bit startled by the bold dye job (or at least, he's definitely assuming it's a dye job, because there's no way that kind of hair is natural) but shaking it off quick enough.] 'scuse me! [He's sure to keep his voice down, respecting the rules even as he leans over the counter a bit, trying to make sure he grabs her attention.] Hey, I need help findin' somethin'?

[But the fact that she is the student council president means that she is the enemy. Haruki has known Yue all year and has been at odds with her since the formation of the SOS-Brigade! ...Or at least, he was in his own yet. She might not feel the same way. The SOS-Brigade has done some disruptive stuff like have bunny girls advertise at the front gates or steal a computer from the computer club after blackmailing them or other such things, but it might be only Haruki who sees it as a personal issue.

Even if she is cute.

But no really, Yue is the enemy!! And that's why when, a week before homecoming when everyone is taking up way too much space in the lunchroom and he showed up late - thus forcing himself to sit across from her, as it's the only seat he can see - he doesn't talk to her. Or comment to her. Or look at her, so much as scowl at the far wall]

[Coming to school late in the year, Rapunzel formerly was home schooled by her overzealous mother. Needless to say, this means there are quite a few eccentricities about her. Still, though she was shy and almost paranoid at the beginning, she has blossomed into a truly friendly, excitable girl who seems to be everywhere in the school, from the pep rallies to the art studio. Her sweet personality draws people to her, and her adaptability means she can understand their situation.

Her activities include art, band, home ec club, honors society, book circle, and a few other miscellaneous things.]

[You know those stealth rich kids, the ones who don't flaunt their wealth? Ariel's one of those. But it's hard to ignore who she is when you find out - her father is the single most wealthy man in the entire city, so much so that he's nicknamed "King." And though Ariel is one of 7 daughters, she is the one closest to his heart.

None of that shows in her personality, though. She's bubbly, fun-loving, and adventurous to a fault. Many a time she has accidentally skipped class because she was busy in the woods and streams out behind the campus. She loves the water and can spend hours in it. She's really just as passionate about anything she decides...including boys. When she loves, she loves hard and will do anything for him. As of yet, that hasn't bitten her.]

[And here it is, the project that all high school people feared when it came to home ec. Or at least, Rin did. Namely, it was---! ...The egg baby project. There's other parts of the project too, like managing a fact expenses chart for housing and taxes and the jobs that him and his new "wife" rolled, but there's also a baby in the basket between them, sitting in the middle of their pushed together desks.

Ariel. He knows he, he's talked with her before, but he is so like... awkward feeling right now. The class has been given time to make sure that they meet their partners and exchange contact info or the like so...]

[Miss Botan is the school secretary and the only person who's seen the mysterious principal. She's...nice enough, perhaps to the point of being a goofball. Her wardrobe is made up entirely of pink, and she has far too many cat-themed sweaters.

She has the tendency to pop up where it's least expected to keep an eye on the teachers, though with all this "power," she's mostly content with gossiping. For students, this means she wants the whole enchilada of deets before she'll give you a note or let you sign yourself out to go.]

[He spent three years on the streets before being picked up by the system and shunted from foster home to foster home. He's violent, rude, and altogether too obsessed with fire - it's earned him the nickname "Pyro", for the lighter he always carries around despite not smoking and the rumours about arson he may have committed while on the streets.

Whatever class you find him in, he won't be paying attention. If he's in a club, it's been mandated by the principal for "personal betterment", and he's still not paying attention.]

Otherwise, outside of class (and he does get perfect grades, always, he's one of those people) he spends his time hiding in the library or out behind the gym, smoking clove cigarettes and plotting new and interesting ways to cause the chemistry lab to explode.]

Rogue was socially isolated by her own choice, with one or two good friends she was practically always seen with. Her grades were fair in most subjects, and she could more frequently be seen doodling in her notebooks than taking down notes. Sometimes that came back to haunt her, other times she seemed to know the answer anyway, but answered in a way which clearly indicated exactly how many damns she gave.

It was curious, then, that when she did speak with the one or two people out of her social group, it was to tell the jocks and cheerleaders to pick on someone their own size. In smalltown America, after all, high school athletes were gods and cheerleaders the closest women could get to godhood. Rogue did not fit in, and took an almost gleeful enjoyment in being so radically different from the norm. Even her teachers had long forgotten her real name, and her school's official transcript held her nickname.

Still, for all her general disregard of classes and refusal to participate in pretty much any official activity ever, she had spent a long time looking at the Henry IV auditions poster between second and third period. And despite her normally excellent attendance record, it sure looked like she was on her way out of the building, trying to skip chemistry...

[ Gaius is one of those students. Somehow he flies under the radar most of the time, doesn't put a toe out of line when there's a chance he'll get caught, ditches class on a regular but winds up with decent enough grades whenever he does turn up for tests and what not. Totally the opposite of Miss Perfect Student Council with her flawless grades and spotless record. So it's a strange quirk of fate that sees them bump into one another when they should both be in class. ]

Well well, if it isn't Twinkles. Off on a little mid-class stroll?

[ He rolls the lollipop around his mouth and leans onto the wall. Maybe it would be an effective means of blocking her path if the corridor wasn't stupidly wide and he wasn't surprisingly lean for someone with his sugar intake. ]
